In combination with strong power it gives confidence in Volvo's engines. The engine break is very stout. The D16 engine is unbelievably quiet and responsive, and the power and performance is outstanding. It also handles great at highway speeds. The Ishift offers so much more control and is so much smarter than the automatics.
Volvo's durable design comes with many thoughtful features. The three piece bumper is durable with easy end-cap replacement in case of damage. The charge air protection plate shields charge air cooler and radiator package from damage by road debris. Wipers arms fold forward for easy windshield cleaning. Color coded air lines and push in fittings simplify break inspection and maintenance. Bulkhead pass through ports are labeled on both connection points for technician convenience.
As the world's largest manufacturer of heavy duty diesel engines above nine liters, Volvo has earned a powerful reputation for innovations that save money while assuring performance. There's the Volvo air intake pre heater for assured starting in frigid climates, also patent sweet spot measure to encourage soft driving for better fuel economy.
Volvo believes in shutting off the engine whenever possible to save fuel and reduce noise. But there are times when extended idling is a necessity. During those times, Volvo engines utilize the variable turbo charge to thermostatically engage and provide Volvo's warm hold function, allowing the engine to quickly warm and sustain engine temperature at very low speeds, saving fuel and helping the environment.
The Volvo VN series are known as the trucks that brought long haul trucks into the 21st century. The long haul trucks are now nine models strong, with its sloping hood and sleek curves are the most aerodynamic truck on the highway today, each VN makes life on the road more comfortable. QUESTION:
how much would you pay for this horse? 15.3?
6 years old, she has a very sweet and kind nature and is not sharp, enjoys her flat work and always tries to please. She has jumped, but as I don't really enjoy it she is a bit green but she enjoys it. Hacks alone or in company, never strong out hacking and is 100% on the roads (used to tractors, buses etc). Good to box, shoe, catch and clip. Very good doer for type (currently lives out). Very good feet for a Tb and moves straight. no vices. All vaccinations and worming up to date also just had her teeth done. Micro chippedd and weatherbys passported.
BUT she is only for sale due to a recent kissing spines diagnosis which has limited the amount of schooling she can do and I bought her to affiliate in dressage. She is sound and still capable of hacking/endurance/hunting (inc jumping), can do a bit of dressage but not at high level
how much would you pay for her?

QUESTION:
Craigslist/Ebay Sale: Safe or Not?
I responded to a post about a tractor on my local craiglist thinking the price was incorrect. Here is the response email:
Hello,
The tractor is located in Ocala, FL and I am selling it at this price (00) because i just finished the divorce with my husband. The divorce is finished and I own this tractor. I work as a dealer on a cruise ship and i want to sell it because I need money for other things. This tractor is in excellent working condition, slightly used, in 100% working and looking conditions and comes with a clear title ready for transfer. From the beginning you have to know that for the payment I request only secure pay, I prefer the payment to be done using eBay services. Since i am working most of my time, and divorced I want the deal closed only through eBay's Buyer Protection Program in order for me and you to be 100% protected. The final price that I want for this tractor is 00. If you will take it for this price, I am willing to handle the shipping. Please get back to me asap if you decide to buy, and include in your e-mail your full name and address where you want it shipped so I can start the deal with eBay. You will receive payment and shipping details from them.
I will wait your answer very soon only if you are interested to buy because i don't have any free time to waste.
Regards ,
JudithIs this deal legit.....can some scam you using that sort of payment?
I am asking this for my husband.....I didn't know where else to ask it....suggest category was Y!A Answers something or other.
Yeah I figured it was fake, I would personally never do it but my husband was intrigued-
ANSWER:
100% scam.There is no tractor.
There are stolen pictures of someone else's tractor.
There is only a scammer trying to steal your hard-earned money.
The next email will be from another of the scammer's fake names and free email addresses pretending to be the "car shipping company/agent" and will demand you pay for "shipping costs", in cash, and only by Western Union or moneygram.
Western Union and moneygram do not verify anything on the form the sender fills out, not the name, not the street address, not the country, not even the gender of the receiver, it all means absolutely nothing. The clerk will not bother to check ID and will simply hand off your cash to whomever walks in the door with the MTCN# and question/answer. Neither company will tell the sender who picked up the cash, at what store location or even in what country your money walked out the door. Neither company has any kind of refund policy, money sent is money gone forever.
Now that you have responded to a scammer, you are on his 'potential sucker' list, he will try again to separate you from your cash. He will send you more emails from his other free email addresses using another of his fake names with all kinds of stories of great jobs, lottery winnings, millions in the bank and desperate, lonely, sexy singles. He will sell your email address to all his scamming buddies who will also send you dozens of fake emails all with the exact same goal, you sending them your cash via Western Union or moneygram.
You could post up the email address and the emails themselves that the scammer is using, it will help make your post more googlable for other suspicious potential victims to find when looking for information.
Do you know how to check the header of a received email? If not, you could google for information. Being able to read the header to determine the geographic location an email originated from will help you weed out the most obvious scams and scammers. Then delete and block that scammer. Don't bother to tell him that you know he is a scammer, it isn't worth your effort. He has one job in life, convincing victims to send him their hard-earned cash.
Whenever suspicious or just plain curious, google everything, website addresses, names used, companies mentioned, phone numbers given, all email addresses, even sentences from the emails as you might be unpleasantly surprised at what you find already posted online. You can also post/ask here and every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site you can find before taking a chance and losing money to a scammer.
If you google "fake car shipping scam", "western union shipping fraud" or something similar you will find hundreds of posts of victims and near victims of this type of scam.

QUESTION:
i am writing a letter to farm loan for a tractor how does this sound?
i need a little advice for putting more in this letter. i have to send them a letter with what im going to do with the loan for them to approve it i have to send them a letter telling them what i want. this is what i got so far.To whom it may concern:
My name is Jordan Isaac Reese. I am interested in starting a small farm. My interest in starting a small farm is my love of working with animals and farming is something that I would love to do. Me and my family will be working on this farm. I am interested in building a pond to stock with catfish and all sorts of fish. I would like to invest into some livestock such as cattle, goats, and maybe some pigs. I would like to build a chicken coop with some laying hens. I have a interest in gardening to sale the vegetables.
The farm equipment that I would need to run my farm would be a new Holland tractor with a cab PTO a loader. that would be useful with everything that is needed to be done. With the economy the way it is I feel the need to grow and produce as much food as possible, to make a decent living.
I would like to tell you a little bit about my self. I have always had a interest in the outdoors. I have built two homes with the help of my grandfather and I do landscaping and yard mowing. And my father is a diesel mechanic which he will fix any problems I might run into while using the tractor. He has been teaching me about working on diesel engines.-
ANSWER:
Your letter could use a little fine tuning. Your local New Holland store should be able to help you out with getting a loan for the tractor and a letter isn't necessary.I hope you realize you will be needing tractor implements to make all this happen.

QUESTION:
Can I sue a contractor for damage done to my property while working on another property?
I recently bought a house in a new neighborhood. The house behind me is under construction and the contractor has been using my yard as a cut through for his trucks and tractors. This has caused damage to my yard. I never gave him permission to do this and he never asked. The neighbors house is on a perfectly accesible road. The contractor has just choosen to destroy my yard instead of the yard that he is attemptingto sale. My intintion is not to sue but to threaten him to repair the damages caused to my property. Any suggestions?-
ANSWER:
No one has the right to damage your property, unless there is an easement on the property AND the use of the easement is for the proscribed purpose that the easement exists. The contractor is working for someone. That's the guy with the money. Find out who it is - typically the owner of the house. Call him and tell him his contractor is damaging your property. Let him deal with the contractor and get your yard fixed. If you know who the contractor is, tell him too. Both parties will know you're serious.
Take pictures/video. If nothing happens, have a lawyer send the owner a demand letter. Keep it simple. Be nice but firm. Don't fly off the handle. Contractors and property owners have liability insurance that pays for damage done to property of others. If the neighboring house has an owner living in the house while the work is being done, his homeowners insurance can be recourse for you.

QUESTION:
Farmall H: Should I be able to start from 5th gear if it still has its HP?
I went to see a Farmall H for sale, and there was not much I could do to see if it is still giving decent hp. It has 5 forward speeds. It had some trouble starting from 4th but could do it ok. 5th it could not start from. The gears are not synchronized so I don't think you are supposed to shift on the fly into 5th. Would the tractor originally then have been able to start from 5th? Does this mean its lost some HP and how much would you say? The owner did manage to shift into fifth on the fly, he said its tricky. Was this how it was intended when the tractor was brand new or should it have been able to start from fifth when it was new? I want to use this tractor to plow and disc some and it looked in ok shape otherwise, so I want it to be fairly strong. When he got it into fifth it did get up to about 15 or more mph in 120 or 150 feet probably but there wasn't more space to go after that.-
ANSWER:
The tractor was not designed to start in fifth gear. It was designed to start in either 1st (granny gear) or second gear.
Changing on the fly? You do not change on the fly. You *DOUBLE -DE -CLUTCH* To be honest, if you cannot double de-clutch you should not buy this tractor.Double-de-clutching is easy once mastered, and is how all vehicles were driven in the days before syncromesh was introduced into manual (stick) gearboxes.
You wish to change up or down: then you do this. Push in the clutch--push gear stick to neutral---release the clutch-- depress the clutch and push the stick into the required gear and release the clutch.
This for tractors only. However, for road vehicles, one needs to adjust the revs of the engine to match the road speed, just as you would do with a normal stick shift, only without syncromesh, you do as above as well. Complicated? No, not once you have understood what is going on with the gearbox and powers applied, etc,.50 years fixing all types of engines

QUESTION:
Cordless headphones used for mowing and weedwhacking?
I am 15 years old and have a small lawn business. I have a 20 horsepower Craftsman lawn tractor. I also have a gas powered weed-whacker that my parents got at a rummage sale last summer.Being that I mow almost every day (at least/almost), I would like some headphones that cancel out noise. Not ones with a cord for an iPod or something. Just some regular, inexpensive, noise-cancelling headphones. A couple of my customers ask me why I don't wear protective hearing wear. I say, "I don't have any." They always tell me that I need to get some because they don't have their hearing because of something like I am doing now; working around loud machinery everyday.
If you could give me some information on where to get some, what they usually cost, and how much would it cost to add a radio in it? (Just wondering) I really don't want a radio in it because it's probably cheaper without a radio. Any information would be very helpful!
Thanks a lot!
-
ANSWER:
Just get straight hearing protectors. They should have them where you get your tools, or at least be able to tell you where to get them. The ones I use are nothing fancy. If I want to listen to the radio or music, I use earbuds inside.

QUESTION:
I-Given the traditional way in which the tractor market is segmented, what scope do you think there is for us?
The David Brown Company has roots in and around Huddersheld, West Yorkshire. It was at one time best known for the production of high quality gears for use in machinery in a variety of industries. Later, David Brown, the proprietor, was associated with Aston Martin, the world-famous manu¬facturer of sports car saloons. The David Brown Company’s talents, however, were more widely based and it developed expertise in producing agricultural tractors. The agricultural tractor market is typical of most automotive markets. The majority of sales for products are achieved in export markets throughout the world. The geographic dispersal of markets leads auto¬matically to some form of geographic segmentation. This sometimes disguises the fact that it is the end-use to which the tractors are put, rather than the geographic area itself, which creates the market segmentation. For example, the Canadian and Italian markets are clearly geographically distinct markets, but each of which has a preference for a distinct type of agricultural tractor. The Canadian market requires especially powerful tractors, capable of operating on the prairies with maximum efficiency. In the wine-growing areas of Italy, however, narrow track, low horsepower tractors are required.
David Brown Tractors produces a number of different sized models of varying horsepower capacity. The more powerful tractors are naturally physically larger than the smaller horsepower tractors. Size of tractor required is also associated with the size of fields that tractors have to plough and the number and size of implements which they have to drive, as well as the nature of the terrain which they have to work. Different horsepower tractors, with varying sizes of tracks, are suitable for different uses.
While end-use is clearly the dominant way in which the tractor market is segmented, the market is not without its quirks. The David Brown tractor is very distinctive compared with competitors’ product. The David Brown tractor is white in colour, and considered ‘the white Mercedes of the corn¬fields’. Another interesting point is that despite the obviously utilitarian nature of the agricultural tractor in most world markets many farmers’ exhibit great pride in their ‘iron horses’. It is just as much a status symbol to have a brand new large horsepower tractor parked in full view of neighbours in the farmyard, as it is to have a new Mercedes parked on the drive of a suburban house
II.What other bases of market segmentation do you think agricultural tractor manufacturers could employ?III.Gears are sold to a large number of firms operating in many different industries. What do you consider to be suitable methods for segmenting theses markets?-
ANSWER:
1 - scope is still great. try china market. tractors there dont last 10years. they always admire german, british, european and western products.
2 - agricultural produce, physical landscape, terrain, choice of individual farmers. use those who have it to talk about it. advertizement.
3 gears may need to be reconfigured to suit terrain, power etc? invent a new gear or modify it. show new performance for italian or canadian farms

QUESTION:
We recently sold a Lawn Tractor that now appears to have "mechanical issues"?
We recently sold a Lawn Tractor that we only owned for a little over a year because we inherited a second one. During the time we owned the Tractor we never had any problems with this item. It sat over winter and we sold it this spring. We purchased it used at that time.
Now the buyer claims to have all sorts of issues with this item, claims to have various items replaced already and now a quote for a repair that is above what he paid for the Tractor. There was no written sale contract, the items was paid for with cash.
We never had problems with this item so hearing all this just seems strange from the get go. Furthermore, we simply do not know how to respond to his since one, we do not have the funds to tell him bring it back, well we are not a retail store anyhow, two it was sold as is, it’s a used item and we had no knowledge of these alleged mechanical issues he seems to have.
Are there any laws governing this in WI? How private sellers are suppose to respond to this when you put an item in the classifieds. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.-

QUESTION:
GTA IV not as good as rated!?
I have been playing GTA 4 very often since it was released. With this latest sale I got the GTA Classic pack to complete the GTA series. After the purchase I started to play GTA San Andreas again. After playing some times with SA again, my old memories came back about the game. That's why I decided to make this topic. In my opinion GTA 4 has amazing graphics and physics, the story is nice also. But nothing more. After completing the story there is no reason for me to "just" play the game without doing any missions.
GTA San Andreas has cartoon type graphics and physics but it has got more to offer than GTA 4. Want to leave town for a little jeeping/motocrossing on the nearby mountains? Fly to another city? Parachute from a plane? Have your own Airport with your planes and Military Jet? Mod your cars? Play Blackjack in casinos? Use an Apache helicopter to kill badguys? Break into houses at nights? Attend a car school? Take the risk to break into the military base to steal a tank? Go quadding in the forest? Steal a boat and use it on the river to get to another city? Have your own Car Showroom? Attend delivery missions using trucks with attached trailers? Steal tractors from surprised farmers (owns anything:P)? You can do all these and much much more in SA.
And what can you do in GTA 4 besides the missions? Go and drunk yourself? It wont be funny after you have done it for the 30. time. Go to the strip club to see the same lame dancers every time? Maybe play pool, go out with your girl, go eat something or attend a car race? GTA: SA knows those also... Not to mention those irritating phonecalls from your "friends" to do the same stuff over and over again.
I am not saying GTA SA is a perfect game, or it is better than GTA 4. GTA 4 is a great game, when you first load it, you will be amazed by it, thats for sure. But to be honest after playing loads of hours with it, I have to say it is nothing more than a GTA 3 with improved graphics and physics. And GTA 3 is a step backwards from San Andreas.
Now if GTA 4 would have been a GTA: San Andreas with the improved graphics and physics...well...should I say more?
I would really like to hear your opinion about this.

Fancy Furniture produced a batch of 2,000 coffee tables at a cost of 5,000. It was discovered that the entire batch was finished improperly. Fancy can sell the tables as seconds for 5,000 or spend an additional 5,000 to refinish them and sell them for 5,000.
Refer to the information above. In deciding whether to rework the tables or sell them as is, management should:
Compare the 5,000 proceeds from the sale of the tables as is, with the 5,000 cost of the tables.

Eliminate any alternative that results in a loss on the sale of the product.
Compare the 5,000 cost to refinish the tables with the incremental revenue of 0,000 if the tables are refinished.

At the 20,000-unit-per-month level of production, the per-unit cost is , consisting of in variable costs and in fixed costs. Burns sells its saws to retail stores for each. Allen Distributors has offered to purchase 5,000 saws per month at a reduced price. Burns can manufacture these additional units with no change in its present level of fixed manufacturing costs.
Refer to the information above. Assume that Allen Distributors offers to purchase the additional 5,000 saws at a price of per unit. If Burns accepts this price, Burns' monthly gross profit on sales of power saws will:
Increase by ,000.
Increase by 5,000.
Decrease by ,000.
Decrease by 0,000.
-
ANSWER:
1) Since producing 200 extra motors would still keep production in the relevant range of 1,300 motors, the only incremental costs would be variable.
Direct materials 24
direct labor 16
variable manufacturing overhead 29
Incremental costs =2)
Compare the 5,000 cost to refinish the tables with the incremental revenue of 0,000 if the tables are refinished.3) If Burns accepts the offer, production will still remain within the relevant range of 35,000 units. Therefore, fixed costs will not increase. Gross profit will increase by the amount the accepted price is greater than the variable costs.
47 - 40 = per unit
x 5,000 units = Increase by ,000

QUESTION:
Need help with shipping portion of sales contract?
I came up with a hypothetical fact scenario for my business law class and based on the scenario we are supposed to create a sales contract. Here is the scenario I came up with:Your Fine Motors is a truck rental company in Atlanta, Georgia that rents trucks, tractors, and trailers. Your Fine Motors also sells used vehicles to companies who are in any type of trucking industry. ATR Movers is a company in St. Petersburg Florida who provide intrastate and interstate packing and moving services, along with temporary storage. ATR currently has 10 trucks in its fleet, and is currently planning an expansion. ATR will need to purchase an additional 5 box trucks in order to go forward with its planned expansion. The trucks need to be purchased and available to the fleet within 2 months.
I want to have ATR go to pick up their own trucks without the need for a 3rd party carrier, but I am having a hard time determining what this kind of contract would be called (shipment, destination, etc) and am also having a hard time finding another contract to look at as a guide. If anyone could please help or point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
-
ANSWER:
If you don't specify a place of delivery, then by default the place of delivery is the seller's place of business. That's in UCC 2-308.But if you still want to specify it in the contract, then just spell it out. "Seller shall deliver the goods to seller's warehouse at 10 Main St., on May 1, at which time Buyer shall be responsible for said goods."
You don't need any magical technical language. Just use plain English.

Mistakes are in brackets. "Usted" isn't really a grammatical error, but you should omit it because we normally don't use the pronons, specially in that type of text. So, if you use it, it sounds very strange.
Although you have some mistakes, I think you are a very good translator

QUESTION:
need help with my MBA marketing project report?
I am doin my internship in a manufacturing company making Diesel engine parts mainly for tractors. The task given to me by the company is to use the internet and identify potential customers (Diesel engine/tractor OEMs & spare parts distributors) in the export market (no geographical restrictions). Then contact them and if possible to try and get an rfq from them. I have given my project title as "export potential for my firm's products in the international tractor OE and after sales markets" but am not able to get any (secondary)data or market research reports onthe net.I also doubt if a questionnaire would work because all are foreign companies and they are not even responding to my emails which i am sending on behalf of my company. Can you please suggest how to go about obtaining data for the project report for this study and is there any website where i could find marketing project reports? Also is there any other approach i can take (other than export potential ) to do my study?
-
ANSWER:
One common mistake that many students do is 'follow the title of the project'. The title can be changed (& in most cases, it wil be changed) any time during the project (generally towards the completion). Your objectives might have been framed by now, so just follow them & acheive them. If you find any difficulties in acheiving a particular task, just drop it unless its the spine of the project (it sounds bad but in reality, the time period given to you to finish your project would be limited to do everything). Towards the completion just review what you have done & the title would come up automatically. Eg: I started my project with TQM, but due to time limitations & unavailbilty of required data, it turned into 'Quality of work life' i.e, I could complete only a portion of TQM & that little portion was my report. For the secondary data, you need not always have a questionnarire as the data collecting tool. Try to get information from the websites of those companies, from the previous records of your company (what kind of companies it catered to earlier would help you find similar companies (potential companies)).
The data you require or the tools depend largely upon the type or nature of your research study. For example if the study is exploratory in nature, you dont actually need a questionnaire. Data can be obtained through observation. A silly example would be, say if you want to know the number of men voting at a particular poll booth you need not have a questionnaire asking the respondents about their gender. You can simply have the data through your observation.
All that I can say is just start your work, keep a watch over the deadlines.
You can find reports on www.ssrn.com

QUESTION:
What do you think of "Fair Trade"?
Shocked by the price differences for the raw materials at their source (such as coffee in Honduras) and the final points-of-sale (such as latte at Seattle Starbucks), the simple minds imagined a "corporate conspiracy" towards defrauding the poor growers. The "Fair Trade" was born...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_trade
Now, the way I look at it is thus... There are plenty of coffee-growers. Starbucks (and other corporations offering "fair trade" products) don't need so many beans. So they all have to decide SOMEHOW on which grower will get their business... Under the normal rules of Free Market Capitalism, the decisions are based, primarily, on the QUALITY and the PRICE. Maybe, on the RELIABILITY of the supplier as well.
Once you throw the concept of "social justice" into the mix, what happens? Somebody has to evaluate the farmers - to determine, if they qualify...
You may see an enthusiastic fan of diversity doing their benevolent best to make the determination.
I see vast opportunities for corruption -- as the determination can make a farmer very rich (by local standards) by qualifying his harvest for the price 2-3 times higher than the market...
At best, it keeps the people, who are unable to compete in real life, in business by subsidizing inefficient (too high a price for too low a quality) methods and means -- as long as you use horses, you are Ok, but once you switch to tractors, you don't qualify, for example. So modern methods of production end up at disadvantage, and we all end up suffering slower progress.
At worst it corrupts local markets and defeats the Capitalism -- humanity's best hope for comfortable affluence -- before it even properly takes root in some of the developing countries...

Wanting to adopt a chicken. Help?
I was at the Tractor Supply Store and I saw these Baby chickens for sale. I have know clue how old they where or what breed they where, but I'd like to adopt one. I'm just clue less on what to do, I saw that they had this hot light thing above the chickens. These chickens will not be used for food thy will be for pets. I don't have a clue once I adopt it what I would do. Basically just tell me once I got it what I would do, how to tell the sex of it, and misc. information I will need to know along the way of raising it. It will be living out side in a chicken coop, oh great the chicken coop, I don't know how to make that too. Im just overoverwhelmedlease,Please,Please help! Thanx, Jake-
ANSWER:
Actually, the Tractor Supply stores will sell you one or two. I always recommend getting at least two, they keep each other company. While they are small, they need a confined space that would be about 3'x2'. Use cedar chips under their feet. The individuals at the Tractor Supply should be able to sex them for you and will have their breed information as well. You need a waterer, Pullet feed (this is for the babies) and a heat lamp. The babies require between 80-90 degrees. Make sure they have a place to get away from the heat lamp if its too hot. If the temperature outside is in the 80's, just use the heat lamp at night. The sales people at the supply store will help answer your questions and they also have lots of books you can read!!

QUESTION:
Wood stove pellets as cat litter?
I have been using Feline Pine and since it colder I see wood stove pellets for sale at Home Depot & Lowes. If you use wood stove pellets what brands is okay to use? What do I look for?At Home Depot I saw 2 different brands: "American Wood Fiber" & (I forgot the other brans). I don't know what they have at Lowes.
There aren't any tractor or feed stores nearby.
I emailed my question about glue and additives to American Wood Fibers and this was their response:
Hi Kim,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding using our fuel pellets as cat litter. We don't add any glues or other additives to the pellets, but I would recommend that you stick to a 100% pine pellet if you are considering using it for litter. Hardwoods, such as what we use in our fuel pellets, are not as absorbent as softwoods like pine. If there is an Agway store near you, you might be able to find our pine pellets which we package in their private label bag. Really almost any equine bedding pellet or fuel pellet made from pine only may be cheaper per pound than the Feline Pine or other pellets packaged as cat litter. Obviously we'd prefer you buy ours, but if they are not available near you, I wanted to at least offer some advice.I hope this helps. Thank you for your interest in American Wood Fibers products.

Knock- the feed/tractor trailer stores are really far unless you want to drive me there-
ANSWER:
Yes, it is okay. Stick to a 100% pine pellet product and call/email the company before buying to ask if it is safe. Ideally look for products that say they are for animal bedding. i.e. horse bedding.

QUESTION:
Top Mexican Drug Lord Jesus Vicente Zambada Niebla "I Trafficked Cocaine For The U.S. Government"?
The “logistical coordinator” for a top Mexican drug-trafficking gang that was responsible for purchasing the CIA torture jet that crashed with four tons on cocaine on board back in 2007 has told the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago that he has been working as a U.S. government asset for years.Jesus Vicente Zambada Niebla is the son of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada Garcia, one of the top kingpins of the Sinaloa drug-trafficking organization. Niebla was arrested in Mexico in March 2009 and extradited to the United States to stand trial last February.
“The indictment pending against Zambada Niebla claims he served as the “logistical coordinator” for the “cartel,” helping to oversee an operation that imported into the U.S. “multi-ton quantities of cocaine … using various means, including but not limited to, Boeing 747 cargo aircraft, private aircraft … buses, rail cars, tractor trailers, and automobiles,” writes Narcosphere’s Bill Conroy.
In a two page court pleading filed with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago, Niebla claims that he was working on behalf and with the authority of, “The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”); and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”); and the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”),” since January 1, 2004.
Niebla is also connected to the Gulfstream II jet that wrecked with four tons of cocaine on board on September 24, 2007. European investigators linked the plane’s tail number, N987SA, to past CIA “rendition” operations. The bill of sale for the Gulfstream jet, sold weeks before it crashed, listed the name of Greg Smith, a pilot who had previously worked for the FBI, DEA and CIA.
The plane was purchased by Niebla’s Sinaloa drug-trafficking organization through a syndicate of Colombian drug-traffickers that included a CIA asset named Nelson Urrego, according to another undercover CIA operative, Baruch Vega, who was involved in the deal.
“The Gulfstream II jet, according to Mexican authorities, was among a number of aircraft acquired by the Sinaloa drug organization via an elaborate money laundering scheme involving a chain of Mexican casa de cambios (currency exchange houses) overseen by alleged Sinaloa organization operative Pedro Alfonso Alatorre Damy, according to Mexican government and U.S. media reports,” writes Conroy.
Sinaloa bought the jet by wiring money through the U.S. banking giant Wachovia, now a subsidiary of Wells Fargo. “In total, nearly million dollars went through correspondent bank accounts at Wachovia for the purchase of aircraft to be used in the illegal narcotics trade. From these aircraft, more than 20,000 kilograms of cocaine were seized,” states Wachovia’s deferred prosecution agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice. Wachovia was forced to pay a penalty of around 0 million dollars for allowing the money to be laundered through its correspondent bank accounts.
“So, the criminal cases pending against alleged Colombian narco-trafficker Urrego, accused money-launderer Damy and Sinaloa organization logistics chief Zambada Niebla all appear to connect through the Gulfstream II cocaine jet at some level,” summarizes Conroy.
Another private aircraft that was full of cocaine crashed in New Mexico on Sunday morning, but the plane has yet to be identified.
In addition to smuggling narcotics into the United States, Niebla is also accused of obtaining weapons from the U.S. with the intent to use them to cause violence in Mexico City, leading to the murders of several innocent people. Despite the fact that the Obama administration has cited the flow of guns from the U.S. into Mexico as an excuse with which to attack the second amendment rights of Americans, it was recently revealed that the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives deliberately allowed guns to be smuggled from the U.S. into the hands of Mexican drug lords under “Operation Fast and Furious”. President Obama later denied that he had any knowledge of the program.
Niebla’s assertion that he smuggled drugs from Mexico into the United States while working for the U.S. government adds further weight to the already voluminous body of evidence that confirms the CIA and U.S. banking giants are the top players in a global drug trade worth hundreds of billions of dollars a year, information made public by the likes of Gary Webb, who it was claimed committed suicide in 2004 despite the fact that he was found with two gunshot wounds to the head and after Webb himself had complained of death threats and “government people” stalking his home.

QUESTION:
Equine pine pellet bedding as cat litter?
I currently use Feline Pine and it was suggested several times on YA that wood pellets (the type used in pellet stoves) are an equal substitute and much cheaper. Unfortunately, my local farm supply store only carries the wood pellets seasonally. But, I saw an ad from Tractor Supply Co for equine pine pellet bedding, and I'm guessing it's similar or equal. TSC is out of my way so I thought I'd get opinions before I go and look in case you're wondering why I don't just go and see for myself!
You can't beat the price: on sale for for two 40lb bags, while Feline Pine is for one 20lb bag at WalMart!
It's great stuff btw and I wish I'd switched years ago. But I'd love to save $, of course.
Here's a link to their ad if it helps:

b.Find the linear regression model, with speed as the independent variable. Round to four decimal places. 0.2x+14.8889 Does this appear to be a good fit? Explain your answer. I think not because the r^2 = 0.5947 which is not too close to one or negative one.
c.Find the quadratic regression model, with speed as the independent variable. Round to four decimal places. Does this appear to be a good fit? Explain your answer.
d.Determine which model is the better fit by comparing the r2 values. Which model is the better fit? Why?
e.Use the better model to predict the miles per gallon for a Camry that is traveling 63 miles per hour. Round to four decimal places.

a.At what prices p is revenue zero? Round to four decimal places.b.For what range of prices will revenue exceed ,300,000? Round to four decimal places.

ANSWER:
a)after drawing, the data appears to be a linear at the beginning and a half parabola at the second half the data. so i will call it a quartic.
--------------------
b)
after finding the Linear the regression, the equation is y = 0.2x + 14.88 and its coefficient correlation is R^2 - 0.594
it is really doesn't appear to be a good fit. in order to be a good fit, it has to be 1.
-----------------
c)
the quadratic equation is y = - 0.011x^2 + 1.386x - 12.78 ....and its coefficient correlation is R^2 = 0.86.it is not that much good, but it is better that the linear regression.

d)
the better fit i found was the sixth degree polynomial as the following equation:
y = 5E-07x^6 - 0.000x^5 + 0.016x^4 - 1.069x^3 + 37.36x^2 - 682.6x + 5113
the reason i found was the better fit because its coefficient relation was R^2 = 0.985
----------------
e)
y = 5E-07x^6 - 0.000x^5 + 0.016x^4 - 1.069x^3 + 37.36x^2 - 682.6x + 5113
63 = 5E-07x^6 - 0.000x^5 + 0.016x^4 - 1.069x^3 + 37.36x^2 - 682.6x + 5113
since it would be pretty bad to solve for x, we are going to graph another equation as y = 63 to our equation.
after using the graphing utility which is wolframalpha, they never intersect each other. so we can't predict.http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=Plot%5B{63%2C+5113.+-+682.6+x+%2B+37.36+x^2+-+1.069+x^3+%2B+0.016+x^4+%2B+5.*^-7+x^6}%2C+{x%2C+0%2C+55}%2C{y%2C+0%2C+20000}+%5D

when the Revenue is 0 as the following:0 = -0.5p^2+1900p
0 = p * ( -0.5p + 1900 )
p = 0
-0.5p + 1900 = 0 ===> = 0.5p = 1900 ===> p = 3800-------------
b)
to exceed, let's equal it to it as the following:
1,300,000 = -0.5p^2+1900p
0 = -0.5p^2+1900p - 1,300,000 ====> quadratic equation:[ - b +/- √( b^2 - 4 * a * c ) ] / [ 2 * a ]
[ - 1900 +/- √( 1900^2 - 4 * -0.5 * -1300000 ) ] / [ 2 * -0.5 ]
[ - 1900 +/- √( 3,610,000 - 2,600,000 ) ] / [ -1 ]
1900 -/+ √( 3,610,000 - 2,600,000 )
1900 -/+ √(1,010,000)1900 - √(1,010,000) ≈ 895
1900 + √(1,010,000) ≈ 2905now, these prices make 1,300,000. but we want to exceed.
at 895 ≤ p ≤ 2905

QUESTION:
Will he win?
Sam, a farmer from California, needs to lift a 2500 pound generator from the floor of his barn to a hayloft 15-18ft off the floor. Sam goes to Home Depot and tells a sales associate that he "needs some heavy duty rope to use on my farm" The sales associate recommends the one-inch-thick, heavy duty nylon rope and Sam buys 150ft. of it. Sam, later that day attaches the rope to the motor generator, pulls the rope through a pulley with the aid of a tractor and lifts the generator off the floor. Suddenly the rope breaks. The generator falls to the ground and hurts Sam. Sam files a suit against Home Depot for damages.... Who wins and why??
its a hypothetical question lol. sorry its 4 a law class-
ANSWER:
'Sam' did not give specifics to the Home Depot employee. Once a product leaves the store it is no longer a stores responsibility.
You purchase things and use them at your OWN discretion. How can he fault Home Depot??!!
The fault may have been his own doing.
It may have frayed from rubbing as it was lifted.
He did not have any one helping support him as he did this job so there are no witnesses.
How can he prove it is anyone else but his own fault!!!
Sam is stupid and should thank God he is still alive to whine.
Yet another problem with America...the 'sue-happy' nation.

HD wins......the guy never specified what was being done on the farm....he just said "some heavy duty rope to use". He gave him heavy duty rope in the employee's opinion. Sam should have specified and then the tensilary strength of the rope could have been determined.

QUESTION:
ebay scam please help !
?
ok so we need a tractor and i went on to craigslist found a 2006 john deere tractor for 90 which is really good and the lady emailed me saying that she will deliver the tractor and she wants the payment through eBay Financial Department and she said that you can inspect the vechile and evrything and the you can give me the money through eBay heres what you said:We will use only eBay Vehicle Purchase Protection to complete the sale
I want the payment to be handled by eBay Financial Department. They will keep the money until you will receive and inspect the car. You will have 7 days of inspection period. If the tractor is not like described you will have to ship it back on my expense and they will give you a full refund. This way, you will be able to inspect the vehicle before committing to buy itthats what she said what do u think.
-
ANSWER:
This person is selling a tractor on Craiglist, but wants you to go through eBay Financial for payment. The question I would have, why doesn't this person use eBay to sell the item rather than Craig's List? To be it sounds a bit fishy and I would not go through with the transaction. Remember, if something sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

QUESTION:
Farmall H tractor: what plow? Needs wheels?
I just bought a nice 1947 farmall h not converted to 3 point hitch. I think everything is pretty much original except the paint. I don't know how plows work really and what plow I should use. There is a 2 furrow plow for a farmall a supposedly for sale near me, but will it be a good fit? Also, it doesn't appear to have wheels. I thought thses old plows had wheels. Help! I would also like to buy a disc and a chisel plow. Also, what do you think of farmall h...it seems from the internet to be quite a workhorse.-
ANSWER:
The Farmall H was one of the most popular tractors ever made. Lots of them still in use. They were not eguiped with a 3-Point hitch. They are best used for drawbar work such as pulling a wagon, manure spreader, hay rake, plow, etc. The tractor cannot lift implements---only pull. Therefore, the plow you need has to have it's own wheels and the mechanism to lift tye plows out of the ground. This tractor has enough power to pull a 2-Bottom plow. The disc you want should also have it's own wheels and mechanism to lift the disc for transport. A lot of implements built today require the tractor to do the lifting such as a box blade, chisel plow, roto tiller, front end loader. This requires hydraulics built into the tractor.Your tractor wasn't built with hydraulics. So, in your search for implements, just keep this in mind. You do have power take-off built in, so you can run a mower, hay baler, self unloading wagon and many other things. If this is your first tractor, you will find out that you can no longer live without one. Have fun with it!

QUESTION:
Does Yahoo! Finance have a transaction service like an escrow for sales of big ticket items or is this a scam?
In our local paper, somebody put an advertisement for a tractor. The tractor sounds nice and at a good price. However, when I e-mailed the person, he said he wanted to use Yahoo! Finance for the transaction. And he is located somewhere across the country, many miles away.Is this a real service? and how foolproof is it?
His statement was this:
"...I want to use Yahoo! Finance for this transaction. This service allows us to complete the transaction in a manner that is quick and safe for both of us. It acts like a third party between seller and buyer, to insure that the buyer receives the item and the seller receives the payment,..."Thanks!
UPDATE:
I emailed the guy selling the tractor and asked for a phone number, and details about the yahoo finance service and did not get ANY response...starting to sound a lot like a scam to me also. Shame on the local paper for printing this ad. without checking it out first.-
ANSWER:
I also am in contact with the "seller" I cannot find a service in yahoo finance like Paypal and he is really pushy to get payment now.... sounds like a scam.

Got this in an email, and thought I would share it. Responses? (and remember, BOTH current ruling parties have been in control during the past 100 years)...time for a change? What, and how?
Making laws that protect workers has nothing to do with taxation. THAT is not where we went wrong, and the other examples show at best, no societal growth, when you take into account that environemental factors causing cancer in the workplace have replaced the lack of safety mechanisms. We just replaced one hazzard with another. Could this be because of the ineffectiveness of gov't? And their intrusion into tings that theyare nt qualified to deal with, and are poltically motivated to answer?
Feo, they would suffer the same fate as the oil companies who are attached to the gov't teat...
I also don't need to look to history to find homeless children in america. We have the infant mortality rate of a third world country. I don;t see how it gets worse than that. Also, seniors having to choose between medicine and food, and also being homeless.-
ANSWER:
"Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago
and there was prosperity, absolutely no national debt,
the largest middle class in the world and Mom stayed
home to raise the kids. "Actually, the rich paid the taxes back then and there were luxury taxes to be paid on luxury items. And, 100 years ago there was abject poverty in this country and senior citizens who had no money were homeless and there were alot of them. There were alot of homeless children as well. To say there was a large middle class 100 years ago isn't quite true. It was a growing middle class but the majority of people in this country were not middle class then. Many were poor farmers and sharecroppers. The poor in the cities out numbered the middle class and they worked in the factories under horrible conditions. Child labor laws were not implemented yet either. So, you need to do a little more digging into your history. The middle class is getting shafted though, you are right about that. And, the richest 3% and the corporations are making off like thieves with offshore accounts to avoid paying taxes and with huge government subsidies in the billions in the form of grants. Those are going to corporations that are already hugely profitable. And they are being paid to take their businesses to other countries by our tax dollars.

Awesome. You must be a tax advisor like me. Some of those taxes must be state level but most are federal. The only thing I can say is that all those taxes and the laws behind them have kept me employed for 30 years. However, you are right. We americans are taxed to death. Death and taxes are the only things that are certain in this life.

QUESTION:
Are these taxes really necessary?
Subject: What is a billion? What is a 'billion'?
Now here's a reality check! This is too true to be very funny
The next time you hear a politician use the word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about whether you want the 'politicians' spending YOUR tax money
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases
A. A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
B. A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
C.
A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone AgeD. A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
E. A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate our government is spending it.
While this thought is still fresh in our brain, let's take a look at New Orleans.
It is amazing what you can learn with some simple divisionLouisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu (D), is presently asking the Congress for 0 BILLION to rebuild New Orleans.
Interesting number, what does it mean?A. Well, if you are one of 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman, child), you each get 6,528.
B. Or, if you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans , your home gets ,329,787.
C.
or, if you are a family of four, your family gets ,066,012Washington, D.C. HELLO! ... Are all your calculators broken?

The question is; are these taxes really necessary?
I didn't put this here just to be insulted...and NO I am NOT clueless!! Just asking opinions....-
ANSWER:
"Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, "Actually at least half of those taxes, excluding the ones that are not taxes and the ones you listed more than once under different names, existed 100 years ago. That list hasn't changed in 20 years, despite the subsequent repeal of some of the taxes listed. The telephone excise tax, for example, was first imposed in 1898 and repealed in 2006.
When someone cuts and pastes this list two years from now, I have no doubt they will still list the corporate income tax, that turns 100 next year, as a tax that did not exist 100 years ago.

Many of your very good suggestions were separately arrived at by us.
However, there are two separate subjects: 1) What should be included
in a
Flow Cytometry File for Data Transfer and 2) The actual format for
the
Flow
Cytometry File for Data Transfer. We suggested switching to the
Digital
Imaging and Communications in Medicine, DICOM, format after the year
2000.

________________________________________ I agree with both Marty and
Gunter in the very important issue of standardizing data formatting.
I
would point out that lobbying ISAC is only, however, part of the
answer. Regardless of what ISAC may choose to recommend, it is still
up to the manufacturers to implement what they want to do, and if
they
do not agree with ISAC, then too bad for ISAC and the flow community.
A potentially more powerful force for change might be the FDA, which
regulates machines used in CLINICAL settings.

QUESTION:
How can I sell older used heavy equipment in Mexico. What are some sources that I can check on?
I am an dirtwork contractor that is also in used heavy equipment (dump trucks, dozers, tractors, etc.) sales. I have heard that there is a good market in Mexico for older machinery due to the lack of current technology. I am interested in finding out more about this in order to find a new market, as well as use this for a chance to be able to visit Mexico and make monye at the same time. I constantly see Meicans towing older vehicles down the interstate to Mexico. I would also like to know what the equipment would bring there compared to here. If there are any other ideas as to what I could do to be able to visit the country and make money at the same time along these similar lines they would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, King-

Here are some helpful links:Travel info:

http://seccionamarilla.com.mx/default.aspAs for the towing & transporting of vehicles, you would have to conttact the Mexican Embassy (in the USA) near you and request that info. They will give you the forms and what you need to be able to transport what you want. Easier than you think!! Good luck. ;o)
